Maintenance Mechanic
**Looking for Maintenance Mechanics for leading Manufacturers in the North Jersey area!** **Responsibilities** + Complete preventive maintenance requirements on machinery and mechanical equipment. + Follow diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications. + Troubleshoot malfunctions in machinery and mechanical equipment. + Locate sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation. + Use precision measuring and testing instruments to identify issues. + Remove defective parts by dismantling devices using hoists, cranes, and hand and power tools. + Inspect used parts to determine changes in dimensional requirements using rules, calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments. + Adjust functional parts of devices and control instruments using hand tools, levels, plumb bobs, and straightedges. + Inform production workers of routine preventive maintenance techniques and monitor compliance. **Essential Skills** + Strong mechanical aptitude + Experience in GMP environment + Mechanical, electrical, and industrial maintenance repair skills + Troubleshooting skills for mechanical and electrical systems + Experience with PLC, conveyors, hydraulics, and pneumatics + Preventive maintenance experience + Ability to read blueprints and repair machinery + Experience with Allen-Bradley systems + 3-5 years of maintenance mechanic experience **Work Environment** The work environment is a large production setting with GMP standards, ensuring a clean workspace. The company has 85 employees and has been established for 60 years. The available shifts are 2nd Shift (2:00 PM - 11:00 PM, Monday to Friday) and 3rd Shift (11:00 PM - 7:00 AM, Monday to Friday). **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $29.70 - $29.70/hr.
