**Job Title** : Maintenance Mechanic **Location** : Worthington, OH **Pay** : $22 - $23 per hour **Job Summary** : The Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for the general maintenance and upkeep of the facility, including performing repairs and managing sub-contracted maintenance services. This position will maintain all necessary documentation for preventative maintenance and repair activities. The Maintenance Mechanic will collaborate closely with production leaders and other departments to address maintenance needs, safety concerns, and work area projects. The role requires adherence to company policies, strong communication, and the flexibility to work overtime as needed. **Key Responsibilities** : + Maintain accurate logs and schedules for preventative maintenance tasks + Complete maintenance work efficiently and in compliance with safety regulations + Assist in managing departmental costs and staying within the assigned budget + Prioritize and manage multiple maintenance tasks effectively + Ensure a safe work environment and maintain high standards of housekeeping + Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and other urgent maintenance needs + Perform maintenance activities in accordance with corporate policies and safety regulations + Foster positive communication and collaboration between the production, service, and maintenance teams + Participate in identifying, developing, and documenting process improvement initiatives + Engage in all required in-house training and professional development **Minimum Qualifications** : + Associate Degree in a technical discipline or 5 - 7 years of relevant work experience + Proven experience troubleshooting electrical and mechanical systems + Ability to work independently and as part of a team to accomplish shared goals + Effective communication skills and ability to interact with a variety of teams **Desired Qualifications** : + Technical knowledge of building systems and safety awareness + Strong problem-solving skills in areas such as electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and general repairs + Must have a clean driving record and the ability to perform work-related driving tasks **Working Hours** : + Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM + Overtime may be required on Saturdays **Pay Details:** $22.00 to $23.00 per hour Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
