**Maintenance Mechanic - Job Highlights/Description:** **Job Description:** + **Starting Pay/Wages:** $30-$38/hr + Shift Premium: $3.00-$4.00/hr. + **Hours/Shift Openings:** + 1st shift (6:00am-2:00pm) + 2nd shift (2:00pm-10:00pm) + 3rd shift (10:00pm-6:00am) + **Placement:** Direct Hire!!! (no contracts!!) + **Full Benefits:** Health, dental, and vision insurance, 401k, retirement, profit sharing, seasonal bonuses, 2-3 weeks of PTO, etc. **Duties & Qualifications:** + Candidate will be responsible for minor electrical maintenance and some mechanical and pneumatic issues production equipment. + Experience with repairing electrical and mechanical on conveyors, mixers, palletizers, packagers, and hydraulic/pneumatic systems + Ability to troubleshoot and check inputs/outputs of Allen Bradley or Siemens PLCs + Adhere to and implement PM and CM schedules + Experience troubleshooting or repairing VFDs, proximity sensors, limit switches, photo-eyes, fuses, relays, actuators, contactors + Rewiring or troubleshooting single or three phase motors up to 480v + Repair gear boxes, shafts, bearings, valves, cylinders, shafts, chains, etc + Ability to fabricate and make new or repair components using machining or welding + Experience operating overhead cranes and forklift **Job Description:** As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will perform mechanical and electrical repairs on food production equipment. You will provide emergency/unscheduled repairs during production and scheduled maintenance repairs during machine service. Additionally, you will prepare and set up machinery for scheduled production runs. Your responsibilities will include mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of packaging and production machines. You will read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service, diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments. Regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities is a key part of the role. You will also perform a variety of plumbing maintenance and electrical functions, use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment. Detecting faulty operations, defective material, and reporting unusual situations to proper supervision is essential. Compliance with safety regulations and maintaining clean and orderly work areas are mandatory.
