Job Information:

Summary:

Maintain buildings, grounds, equipment and utilities to ensure safe and efficient operation of Facilities.

Ensure the needs of customers are meet and adheres to STAR standards.

Position Responsibilities:

• Responds to unscheduled, routine and emergency maintenance calls.

• Performs preventive maintenance and repairs on facility systems and equipment.  May include but not limited to:  HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Painting and Mechanical systems as required.

• Works on construction and installation projects as required.

• Performs daily rounding within the Facility for safety and compliance purposes.

• Responds to emergency calls and works on-call schedules as needed (either during or outside of regular working hours).  This includes but is not limited to snow removal, utility failures, disaster response, etc.

• Complete documentation (work orders, log books, round log sheets) to reflect work performed.

Position Qualifications Required / Experience Required:

3 years general maintenance experience or equivalent education preferred.

Healthcare environment experience preferred.

Required Education:

HS diploma or equivalent.

*Vocational training preferred.

Training/Certifications/Licensure:

Universal CFC license preferred.
