Founded in 1906, McLeod Health is a locally owned and managed, not for profit organization supported by the strength of more than 900 members on its medical staff and more than 2,900 licensed nurses. McLeod Health is also composed of approximately 15,000 team members and more than 90 physician practices throughout its 18-county service area. With seven hospitals, McLeod Health operates three Health and Fitness Centers, a Sports Medicine and Outpatient Rehabilitation Center, Hospice and Home Health Services. The system currently has 988 licensed beds, including Hospice and Behavioral Health. The hospitals within McLeod Health include: McLeod Regional Medical Center, McLeod Health Dillon, McLeod Health Loris, McLeod Health Seacoast, McLeod Health Cheraw, McLeod Health Clarendon and McLeod Behavioral Health.
Maintains a professional image and exhibits excellent customer relations to patients, visitors, physicians, and co-workers in accordance with our Service Excellence Standards and Core Values. Maintains various types of mechanical systems to include, but not limited to: refrigeration, air conditioning, heating, plumbing, electrical, automation, medical gas and fire protection systems, Energy Management, and Work Order Management systems.
Provide a wide variety of skilled task including installation, repairs, troubleshooting, planning, modifications, and calibration of instrumentation for various types of mechanical systems to include, but not limited to: refrigeration, air conditioning, heating, plumbing, electrical, automation, medical gas and fire protection systems.
Monitor equipment & utility systems and log performance indication readings.
Review Work Orders daily and complete associated tasks/repairs by Type/Priority and document the “as found” condition, troubleshooting/repair details, list any testing equipment (w/calibration dates), test results data, photos, verbal/written documentation of communication with Requestor and final “as corrected” condition. Document root causes for all equipment failures. Maintains detailed and accurate records of system repairs, temperature, humidity and air flow as required by authorities having jurisdiction (AHJ) and medical center policy.
Under close supervision, ensure safe and efficient operation of various types of mechanical systems to include, but not limited to: refrigeration, air conditioning, heating, plumbing, electrical, automation, medical gas and fire protection systems, Energy Management systems, and follows through to completion any required repairs maintenance and alterations

Work Schedule: 80 hours bi-weekly
Qualifications/Education/Training: High School Graduate or GED. Must be able to demonstrate general personal computer data entry proficiency and basic control diagnostic procedures.
Licenses and/or Certifications: If the operation of a McLeod owned or leased vehicle is required; must possess a valid driver’s license and have acceptable driving record.
