There is a vacancy for a Maintenance Mechanic I with HVAC experience preferred. Description: + Performs general commercial building repair and maintenance and does other duties as required, such as but not limited to snow removal, grounds work etc. + This class involves a variety of Building maintenance and repair tasks of a general nature. Employees of this class perform work in all of the building trades areas on a basic level and will work with the leadership of a Building Maintenance Mechanic II on larger or more complex projects. Incumbents perform their duties with some latitude for independent planning or laying out of the working details. General Duties: + Performs repair and maintenance on floors, ceilings, walls, doors, windows, roofs etc. Takes part in a departmental preventive maintenance program and assists with grounds as necessary. This class will do snow removal and other duties as assigned.
