Job Description:
Duties/Responsibilities
+ Perform routine and specialized maintenance of facility and equipment under minimal supervision, maintain compliance to the appropriate external regulations and internal maintenance policies
+ Ensure safe and cost-effective operation of the facility and equipment, and ensures safe and developmentally sound maintenance practices which comply with both government regulations and G&K policies
+ Participate in meetings, may prepare variety of reports and maintain thorough records and files to ensure a proper level of communication and documentation as required
+ Utilize strong communication skills
+ Accurately maintain records and files
+ Perform predefined preventive maintenance procedures at specific time intervals to minimize downtime and maintenance cost
+ Provide safe and efficient operations at predefined intervals to minimum downtime and maintenance cost
+ Perform downtime repair work to maintain proper production levels as required
+ Utilize Equipment Suppliers & Manuals, Regional & Corporate Engineering, and other G&K
+ Ensure proper and timely repairs are made
+ Perform predefined equipment or facility work to maintain equipment and facility at optimum level for production as determined by prioritization based on Project Logs and Regional Engineer, additional G&K
Required Skills/Abilities
+ High school diploma or equivalent required
+ Specialized course work beyond high school preferred
+ Minimum 3 years of maintenance work experience required
+ Trade skills in one or more; welding, electrical, mechanical, HVAC, instrumentation, boilers preferred
+ Ability to interpret and understand maintenance manuals which are written in English
+ Boiler operator license preferred

+ Physical Requirements: Lifting/Carrying, Pushing/Pulling, Climbing, and Stopping/Kneeling/Bending
+ An Individual in this position will be required to list or carry weight in this group: 25-34 lbs
+ Sensory/Communicative activities essential to the performance of this position: Feeling, Hearing, Seeing, Smelling, Speaking
+ An Individual in this position will be exposed to: Inside environment, Bloodborne Pathogens, Loud Noise, Chemical Hazards, and Respiratory Hazards
