**Maintenance Mechanic III**
**2nd Shift**
**M-F 2:30P - 11P**
**Position Summary**
The purpose of this position is to perform routine preventative maintenance on production machinery. Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic and quality related problems.
**TRAINING FOR THIS SHIFT MAY BE ON A DIFFERENT SHIFT FOR UP TO ONE MONTH.**
**Essential Functions and Key Responsibilities**
+ Using tools and test equipment, troubleshoot and repair any problems to the machine, following all Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) procedures.
+ Use tools to fabricate parts needed to repair machinery.
+ Troubleshoot servo drives, motors, and encoders.
+ Set preventative maintenance schedule so as not to interfere with production when possible.
+ Operate forklift to move materials, machinery and/or parts to and from the cage and the production area
+ Keep work area neat and clean.
+ Additional duties may be assigned as needed for business purposes.
**Qualifications and Skill Requirements**
+ High School diploma/GED (minimum)
+ Three to five years experience in troubleshooting and repairing industrial equipment
+ Experience using a computer for PC based operational systems, PLC system architecture installation and diagnosis
+ Be vigilant about safety
+ Quality - conscious, oriented to excellence
