MAINTENANCE MECHANIC IV

Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Maintenance Teams perform repairs and preventive maintenance to ensure longer lifespan of machines and facilities. Every team member is responsible for maintaining housekeeping and organization of the work area as well as following TE Connectivity's EH&S policies and procedures.

   
As a Maintenance Mechanic IV, you are responsible for:

•    Diagnoses and repairs advanced mechanical and/or electrical breakdowns of machinery with minimal supervision 
•    Basic Knowledge of PLC operation including ladder logic preferred.
•    Provides technical support for maintenance department and engineering.
•    Completes all work orders and repair logs to reflect work performed.
•    Follows all safety guidelines in working on machinery or in facilities (ex. Lock out/tag out).
•    General housekeeping of work area
•    Other maintenance projects as assigned
•    Performs machine pm's as needed
•    Basic to Intermediate Computer skills
•    Basic building maintenance as needed

  

Schedule: Monday to Friday OR Sunday to Thursday 3rd Shift from 11 pm to 7 am with an added shift differential of 11%.

What your background should look like:

Your background must include one of the following 3 options

•  Option 1:  AAS in Electronics, Electro-Mechanical or Industrial Technology plus 2+ years’ experience in electronics or mechanical field
•  Option 2:  5+ years’ experience in manufacturing in Industrial hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical repair, motor controls in plant environment
•  Option 3:  Certified Journeyman/Apprenticeship program completion with 2+ years' experience in electronics or mechanical field

COMPENSATION
•    Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $60,720– $91,080  (subject to change dependent on physical location)
•    Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
•    Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
