Summary You will serve as a MAINTENANCE MECHANIC LEADER in the PUBLIC WORKS DIVISION of NAVFAC SOUTHWEST. Responsibilities You will explain procedures, policies, written instructions, or other directives to others performing maintenance work. You will cooperate with coworkers of other trades to accomplish tasks involving joint efforts. You will coordinate maintenance work assignments among staff to maintain work progress and meet schedules. You will detect and diagnose system malfunctions, disassemble equipment, repair, or replace parts on ordnance equipment. You will install, repair, maintain, troubleshoot and load new and existing electrical lines, circuits, systems and associated fixtures, controls and equipment. You will determine the cause of faulty equipment and make repairs on systems that provide air conditioning functions such as heating, cooling, humidifying, cleaning, filtering and circulating.
