**Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic for a 2nd shift position. The role involves performing mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical maintenance and repairs on production machines, including filling, capping, boxing machines, conveyor systems, and mixing tanks. This is a great opportunity to join a growing company and advance your career while working in a dynamic environment. **Responsibilities** + Perform preventive maintenance on production machines. + Assist with machine changeovers and updates/repairs as scheduled. + Respond to and assist with machine breakdowns during the shift. + Communicate effectively with machine operators and other team members. + Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical issues. + Read and interpret blueprints and schematics. **Essential Skills** + Experience in troubleshooting and maintenance of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems. + Proficiency in preventive maintenance procedures. + Strong diagnostic and repair skills. + Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics. + Experience with PLC troubleshooting and programming is a plus. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Computer experience (CMM system). + Experience with industrial maintenance. + Ability to use hand tools effectively. **Why Work Here?** Our company offers a supportive and dynamic work environment with opportunities for growth and learning. The environment can be warm, and employees are expected to work efficiently to meet production demands. The 2nd shift runs from 4:30 PM to 3:30 AM, with potential overtime on Fridays and Saturdays. **Job Type & Location** This is a Permanent position based out of Gurnee, Illinois. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $70000.00/yr. Holidays 2024 Manufacturing: 9 holidays + 2 floating holidays = 11 holidays Vacation 0-5 Year of employment: 17 days 6-10 Years of employment: 22 days 11 years+: 27 days Sick Time: 40 hours Parental leave program 15 weeks at 100% pay for birthing mothers. 3 weeks at 100% pay for fathers.
