1. Reports for scheduled shift on time and prepared to assume responsibilities.
Reports to work in proper uniform or attire. Leaves for meal break on time and returns on time. Varies work schedule to meet the needs of the department. Ensures all overtime has been approved by the department head prior to working. Schedules all time off with supervisors approval. Strictly adheres to hospital attendance/tardiness policies 100% of the time. Performs all duties as assigned. Wears I.D. badge in a visible location at all times on hospital property.2. Attends and participates in meetings and is responsible for all information communicated at meetings.
Attends all hospital mandatory in-service education on a timely basis as scheduled. Participates as an active team member at all staff meetings. Reads all communications and acts upon in a positive and informative manner. Is an active participant in assigned Performance Improvement meetings.
3. Adheres to Corporate, Regional, hospital and departmental policy and procedure 100% of the time.
4. Assists all patients, family members, physicians, visitors and employees in a professional and courteous manner.
5. Follows Infection Control procedures at all times.

Qualifications
EDUCATION
Minimum: High School or equivalent Preferred: Electrical, plumbing or HVAC Mechanic CertificationEXPERIENCE
Three (3) to five (5) years experience as a Maintenance Mechanic required. Prior experience in a healthcare setting preferred but not required.REQUIRED CERTIFICATION/LICENSURE/REGISTRATION
