What is the Schedule?

This is a full time position with benefits available.

\n

Saturday - Wednesday hours of 7:30am - 4:00 pm from December - March

\n

Tuesday - Saturday hours of 7:30 am - 4:00 pm from April - November

Our Maintenance Painter play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for our residents and the value of their properties by:

\n\nPerform the duties of Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure that building systems operate efficiently and that the physical condition of buildings do not deteriorate.\nPerform maintenance tasks such as pool maintenance, carpentry, painting, plumbing and electrical repairs to ensure that the building is properly maintained.\nOperate and perform routine maintenance and repairs on systems & equipment as needed.\nPrimary functions will revolve around the painting needs of the community where skills and knowledge of types of paints with the proper applications, safety and upkeep that is needed.\nAlong with a focus on paint, the best candidate will also posses knowledge of drywall installation and finishing of surfaces.\n\n Requirements

Requirements:

\n\nMust be able to communicate effectively with internal and external customers and clients\nKnowledge of general maintenance requirements, (documentation, safety, required reporting, regulations, etc.)\nKnowledge of painting and drywall and maintenance requirements, (documentation, safety, required reporting, regulations, etc.)\nKnowledge of OSHA worksite and personal safety requirements.\nKnowledge of State or local governmental safety requirements.\nMay be required to provide own basic tools (power drill, power saw, screwdrivers, level, hammer, etc.)\nAbility to safely operate, climb and perform work on ladders (1-2 stories) – 24-28ft.\nAbility to operate smartphone & email (day-to-day operations, basic communication/monthly expense reports)\nMust be able to operate a vehicle from one location to another\nMust be able to lift and carry up to 20 pounds on a frequent basis.\n3 - 5 years of directly related or closely related experience.\nAbility to share on-call schedule for the community with other maintenance team members for coverage.\nFollow maintenance daily, weekly, monthly scheduled duties for the community.\n\n
