Opportunity summary: As the Maintenance Administrative Clerk, you will be responsible for coordinating functions for the Maintenance Department, including assisting with inventory management & the procurement of equipment and supplies to effectively plan all maintenance work projects. You will partner with the maintenance leadership team to provide recommendations to improve the Maintenance Department procurement record keeping processes and procedures.

Facilitate ordering and maintenance of department office supplies, maintaining proper inventory levels for designated areas Track and monitor inventory supply levels for tools and parts utilizing JDE software to maintain equipment information and documentation Assist with routine monthly equipment and building maintenance tasks by supporting WestRockâs preventative maintenance schedulesPrepare parts/equipment kits and make pick-ups accessible for mechanics/electricians to complete the jobReceive inventory, create new labels, and enter new part numbers into JDE software Fulfill order replenishments of machine parts for maintenance technicians Research parts in Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) catalogue to identify cost-efficient parts and equipment Partner with the Reliability Manager to assess problems identified and validate parts needed on maintenance checklistPartner with Maintenance Planner/ Scheduler to ensure parts are ordered and delivered on- time during outages
What you need to succeed:
High School diploma or G.E.D. 1 to 3 years in manufacturing maintenance environmentDemonstrated successful track record of effective problem-solvingAbility to use computer and related software programs (JDE, CMMS, etc.) to accomplish assigned tasksAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manualsAbility to write routine reports and correspondenceAbility to maintain complex records and to assemble and organize dataPossess some mechanical acumen to proactively identify parts and tools need to the Maintenance teamPossess strong collaboration skills with stakeholders across functionsAbility to set priorities, achieve deadlines, and manage multiple tasks at the same timeDemonstrates strong organizational and time management skillsPossess strong written and verbal communication skills to deliver messages to customers and WestRock employees Candidates are required to undergo a drug screening after receiving a conditional job offer, but before starting employment.
