Job Description

     

JOB SUMMARY

Analyzes existing maintenance methods, implements process improvements in the preventive maintenance program, and provides cost estimates and risk analysis for potential projects. Coordinates Project Management activities, collaborates with production teams to oversee cleanliness and safety of the work area and evaluate new manufacturing technology to ensure adherence to safety procedures and company policies.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Leads and promotes healthy and safe work practices as required by regulatory agencies and Company policy.Coordinates procurement and administration of consultant and contractor services. Monitors vendor activities to assure contractual compliance.Assists with Project Management.Works with production on projects, priorities, and timetables.Provides maintenance assistance for problems of operation equipment and production facilities. Provides cost estimates, risk analysis, and production estimates for the evaluation of potential projects.Evaluates new manufacturing technology and recommends re-engineering options to improve the economy of maintenance.Utilizes and records work in Systems Applications and Products in Data Processing (SAP).Monitors regulatory compliance with Health and Safety procedures set out by the plant and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), including Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO).Works with teammates and Electrical Supervisor to promote a continuous improvement mindset to improve equipment uptime and effectiveness.Performs other duties as they might be assigned.Regular and predictable, full-time, on-site attendance during scheduled hours

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or GED3 year multi-craft experience, including some experience using platforms like Systems Applications and Products in Data Processing (SAP)

KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / COMPETENCIES

Working mechanics knowledgeStrong skills in Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint, including competence in functions such as pivot tables, if statements, etc. Basic math skills Strong problem solving skillsEffective listening, communication and interpersonal skills Attention to detail, dependability, professionalism and a great work ethic Ability to read measuring devices and equipment
