Opportunity Snapshot:

Compensation: $35/hourLocation: Pasadena, TXWork Schedule: M-F / 40 hours+Assignment Duration: 3 months with possibility of extensionBenefits: Comprehensive benefits with 401(k), PTO and Holidays Responsibilities Develop and maintain detailed maintenance schedules for mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation equipment to ensure optimal equipment reliabilityCoordinate with Maintenance Supervisor and Production Supervisor to prioritize and plan both preventive and corrective maintenance activitiesEnsure that all planned work orders are properly scoped, estimated, and assigned with clear job steps, resources, and timelinesServe as the primary user and administrator for the CMMS (Dynastar) to manage work orders, equipment history, and maintenance records.  Ensure accuracy and completeness of CMMS data, including updating equipment records, maintenance logs, and parts inventoryCollaborate with the MRO Coordinator to ensure availability of required parts and materials for scheduled maintenance activitiesProvide technical support to maintenance teams in troubleshooting equipment issues and developing effective repair strategiesWork with Maintenance Supervisor to analyze equipment failures and recommend changes to PM programs or maintenance practicesGenerate and maintain documentation for preventive maintenance, corrective actions, work order completion, and equipment reliabilityReport on key maintenance metrics, including PM compliance, work order backlog, and equipment downtime, and provide data-driven insights for continuous improvementIdentify opportunities to improve maintenance efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance equipment reliability through better planning and scheduling practicesParticipate in root cause analysis (RCA) sessions to address recurring equipment failures and propose corrective actionsSupport EHS programs by ensuring that maintenance activities comply with safety and environmental regulationsEnsure all maintenance work is conducted following safety protocols, and report any potential hazards or safety incidents Qualifications High school diploma or GED with at least 3 years of experience in maintenance planning and scheduling in an industrial or manufacturing environment.  Associate degree or technical certification in Maintenance Management, Engineering, or a related field, preferredUnderstanding of industrial equipment, including mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation systemsExperience with troubleshooting and developing repair strategies for industrial equipmentStrong organizational skills with the ability to balance multiple priorities and workloadsGood communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with cross-functional teamsFamiliarity with spare parts management, inventory control, and vendor coordinationKnowledge of Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and CMMS software
