Maintenance Lead for a galvanizing line
Responsibilities Planning, coordination and organizing daily work including preventative maintenance, unplanned maintenance, and project work. Work with Maintenance Engineer to plan, schedule and coordinate maintenance work during downturns and outages.Develop, maintain, and schedule the preventative maintenance program.Assist and support maintenance and operations with daily maintenance while assuring that all maintenance is performed safely.Maintain equipment drawings and documentation.Evaluate, maintain, and purchase necessary spare parts and operating supplies.Coverage as a shift Maintenance Technician as needed.
Qualifications- Strong self-starter, with an excellent safety and attendance record
- Skilled at development and training of maintenance personnel
- At least 5 years working in maintenance in a manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of the Galvanizing process and its associated equipment
- Knowledge of power distribution, AC/DC Motors, motor control, PLCs, VFDs, hydraulics, equipment alignment, bearings, couplings, grease systems and pneumatics.
- Skilled at troubleshooting, problem solving, installation of equipment.
- Strong electrical/mechanical aptitude.
Preferred
- Experience with troubleshooting and programming of Allen Bradley PLCs, Rockwell Software, and Factory Talk HMIs
- Using IBA data trending software.
- Networking experience
