Salary: $59,350 - $71,000
Schedule: 9/80

Focus:  The Maintenance Planner has multiple areas of responsibility supporting Plant Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, and Facilities projects. The goal of this position is to provide organization, coordination, and communication to shop team members and leaders to achieve operational and performance excellence of the Flex Pro Group.

Maintenance Planner Essential Job Functions: Facilitates in flow and out flow of work requests from Engineering, Supervision, and Operations. Coordinates with the Flex Pro Team to set up work requests for processing and assignments. Plans and prioritizes shop workflow and paperwork to ensure maximum performance with minimal delays.   Monitors work requests to ensure they will finish on time and within budget. Orders and receives materials and parts for the shops. Maintenance Planner Minimum Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent 2 years recent relevant experience. Working knowledge of Leading to Lean Dispatch Software preferred. Superior organizational and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and documentation skills with the ability to work closely with engineering staff. Computer skills relevant to engineering work and a working knowledge of Microsoft Office.


Location-Specific Requirements: 

Must have a valid US Driver’s License. This position requires successful vetting as an Employee Possessor in accordance with U.S. Department of Justice and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.  This position requires access to ITAR controlled technical data, and as such, employment will be contingent upon the candidate's ability to access ITAR controlled technical data pursuant to an export license approved by the Directorate of Defense Trade Controls, if required. This position requires successful vetting for unescorted access in accordance with U.S. Army and Department of Defense access policies. The US Government does not allow non-US citizens on-site at the Lake City Army Ammunition Plant.  Therefore, to be considered in the hiring process, the candidate must be a US citizen.
