**Now Hiring Maintenance Planner & Inventory Coordinator** **Chaska - $71K/yr** **1st Shift Hours:** 8:00am-4:30pm (Monday-Friday) **Placement Type** : Direct Hire **Job Description** + We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Planner and Scheduler to oversee and enhance the maintenance operations within our facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong experience in planning and scheduling maintenance activities, a deep understanding of CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System), and excellent communication skills. **Responsibilities** + Develop and implement maintenance plans to optimize equipment performance and minimize downtime. + Use the CMMS to create and maintain detailed maintenance work orders, ensuring all labor, materials, and notes are accurately recorded and tracked. + Generate weekly maintenance schedules for equipment and facility upkeep, prioritizing tasks based on urgency and impact on operations. + Collaborate with the Purchasing and Inventory teams to manage necessary parts and materials for scheduled maintenance activities, ensuring adequate inventory levels. + Organize and manage spare parts inventory, maintaining accurate records of availability and usage to support maintenance operations. + Prepare daily and two-week maintenance schedules, coordinating tasks to align with production needs and resource availability. + Plan activities linked to scheduled plant outages, working closely with the Maintenance Manager to maximize resource utilization. + Communicate effectively with the operations and maintenance teams to stay informed about ongoing engineering projects and their implications for maintenance activities + Identify and recommend improvements to processes and workflows for better efficiency and productivity. + Prepare reports detailing repair costs, trends in equipment performance, and maintenance activities to assist management in decision-making. + Address any issues related to inventory or scheduling promptly, ensuring smooth maintenance operations. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Valid Driver's License + 3-5+ years of maintenance experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment. + 2+ years of experience with Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) software + Strong organizational and project management skills, with the capacity to prioritize multiple tasks effectively. + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with diverse teams. + A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement. **Why Work Here?** We offer a supportive and collaborative work environment that fosters creative problem-solving and shared learning.
