What You Can Expect
As our Maintenance Planner located in Houston, TX you will support the maintenance and inventory management functions by utilizing SAP systems to ensure seamless operations, accurate data management, and effective planning. This role focuses on SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) and Materials Management (MM) modules and other related procurement systems, assisting in the execution of maintenance strategies and inventory optimization. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, a strong collaborator, and eager to grow their expertise in asset planning and management.
Reporting to the Asset Management Manager, your primary duties encompass:
Maintenance Management:
Lead development of maintenance of master data in the SAP PM module, including equipment, functional locations, and maintenance plans Ensures Asset module is up to date (Asset enrollment, modification and retirement) Develops Annual Asset Maintenance Plan and coordinate with Asset Management & Procurement Department for alignment Support the scheduling and tracking of preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance tasks in SAP Monitor and update work orders to ensure data accuracy and completeness Generate routine maintenance performance reports to support decision-making and KPI tracking Provide first-level troubleshooting for SAP PM-related issues and escalate complex problems as needed
Inventory Management:
Manage inventory records in the SAP MM module, ensuring accurate tracking of spare parts and materials Support inventory control processes, including stock level monitoring, reorder points, and safety stock adjustments. Coordinate with procurement teams to ensure timely availability of required inventory items Assist in generating and analyzing inventory reports to identify optimization opportunities
Support and Coordination:
Act as a resource for end users by providing training and support on SAP PM and MM functionalities Work with cross-functional teams to improve workflows and data integrity within the SAP system Collaborate with maintenance, operations, and procurement teams to align maintenance and inventory plans with operational needs Participate in regular reviews of asset and inventory performance and recommend improvements
Documentation and Process Improvement:
Assist in the development and maintenance of standard operating procedures (SOPs) for SAP processes Identify opportunities to streamline SAP-related workflows for efficiency and accuracy Ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures for maintenance and inventory management
What You’ll Bring
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Information Systems, or a related field Minimum 1-3 years experience working with SAP systems, particularly PM and/or MM modules (internship experience considered)
Additional Details
This role is eligible for our hybrid work policy; consisting of with a minimum of three (3) days in the Houston, TX office Must be willing and able to comply with all ENGIE ethics and safety policies
Compensation
Salary Range: $32.45 - $49.70 USD hourly
This represents the average expected pay range for a qualified candidate.

In addition to base pay, this position is eligible for a competitive bonus / incentive plan.
