**Maintenance Planner** Currently hiring a Maintenance Planner in the Lockport, IL area. Hiring immediately. **Shift** : 1st shift Monday - Friday. Rotating weekends. Flexible in/out time. 8am-5pm or 6am-3pm. Expect some overtime. **Job Description:** + Plan, schedule, and coordinate corrective, preventive, predictive, and proactive maintenance activities with a long-term focus on increasing reliability and productivity. + Obtain and organize all information and parts required for maintenance work, such as diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, and manufacturer's instructions. + Locate sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation, listening for issues, discussing with operators, and using precision measuring and testing instruments. + Collaborate with other maintenance colleagues to ensure timely completion of work orders and operational machinery. + Control and optimize spare parts ordering, stocking, issuing, and inventorying. + Develop new or refine existing preventive maintenance tasks and schedules. + Provide assistance and guidance to junior maintenance colleagues. + Adhere to all plant safety policies and participate in plant-wide safety, housekeeping, Operational Excellence, and Lean Manufacturing programs. + Perform other duties as assigned. + Schedule planning + Preventive maintenance + Work orders + Maintenance planning software + Mechanical and electrical skills + Microsoft Office proficiency + Strong communication and people skills + Problem management + Data interpretation + Maintenance management **Additional Skills & Qualifications:** + Ability to select and operate appropriate hand, power, and specialty tools and testing devices + Mechanical experience and direct maintenance work experience, with high volume manufacturing experience being a plus + Ability to read blueprints, diagrams, manuals, and machine/process drawings, with the skill to sketch or alter existing drawings + Strong written and oral communication skills + Ability to manage multiple priorities or projects and keep them progressing to completion + Excellent time management skills + Skill in estimating and communicating labor hours, material requirements, and skills needed to complete a job **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $51708.00 - $95097.00/yr.
