We are currently seeking a skilled Maintenance Planner/Buyer to join our Boart Longyear team in Elko, Nevada. This individual will be responsible for providing effective administrative assistance to the operations groups. **Responsibilities** + Purchase maintenance parts for all shops + Reduce item cost through research and sourcing activities + Manage/maintain assigned blanket PO’s + Create/Close discrete Job Work Orders + Manage core returns/charges + Manage pump/motor/cylinder rebuilds + Maintain Warehouse inventory by generating new inventory items, charging out items to correct cost centers/projects and returning items to inventory as needed. + Advise Min/Max inventory need based on historical demand + Coordinate hotshot transport and shipping as needed + Maintain daily shop supplies + Other duties as required + Maintain a high degree of professionalism. **Minimum Qualifications** + Education minimum: high school diploma + High level of data entry accuracy a must. + Ability to prioritize/handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet established deadlines in a fast-paced environment. + Good understanding of Supply Chain processes and supply ordering techniques + Strong analytical skills + Proficient in spreadsheet software + Equipment maintenance background preferred + Oracle software experience preferred + Self-motivated, customer service-focused, detail oriented and flexible. + Ability to work additional hours if needed.
