Maintenance Planner/Scheduler

Qualification
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Maintenance Management, or a related field (preferred).
Experience
Minimum of 5 years of experience in maintenance scheduling, with a strong focus on SAP PM.
Experience in the mining industry or heavy industrial environments is an advantage.
Requirements
Proficiency in SAP PM for work order management, scheduling, and reporting.
Strong analytical and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
Knowledge of safety protocols and regulatory compliance in maintenance operations.
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain comprehensive maintenance schedules for equipment, facilities, and infrastructure using SAP PM.
Coordinate with maintenance teams, supervisors, and operations staff to ensure timely execution of scheduled activities.
Monitor and update maintenance work orders in SAP PM, ensuring accurate tracking of work progress and resource allocation.
Prioritize maintenance tasks based on equipment criticality, safety requirements, and operational needs.
Generate and analyze maintenance reports to identify trends, areas for improvement, and potential risks.
Ensure spare parts, tools, and other resources are available to execute planned maintenance activities effectively.
Collaborate with procurement and warehouse teams to manage inventory for maintenance activities.
Support the implementation of preventative and predictive maintenance programs to minimize equipment downtime.
Ensure compliance with RDMC’s safety and operational standards during maintenance planning and execution.
Liaise with contractors and third-party vendors for specialized maintenance requirements.
Provide input to the budget planning process for maintenance activities.
