**Job Description**
The Maintenance Planner/Scheduler is responsible for scheduling and overseeing maintenance activities, as well as managing the daily operations of the Storeroom Group to ensure effective maintenance of the plant. This role will coordinate preventive maintenance schedules, plan and prioritize work orders, and lead shutdown planning. Additionally, the position will oversee requisitioning and purchasing stock and non-stock items, manage off-site rebuilds, and ensure the accuracy of documentation and reporting. The role will also supervise and direct the performance of the Storeroom staff, ensuring adherence to plant policies, safety standards, and work goals. This role will interface with various departments, coordinate contract services, and maintain critical records related to plant maintenance and safety equipment.
This position reports directly to the Maintenance Manager and has supervisory responsibility for the Storekeeper and Storeroom Clerk.
**I’m interested! What will I get to do in this position?**
+ Establish weekly and daily plan for maintenance work orders.
+ Lead shutdown planning and schedule maintenance activities. Maintain product master.
+ Plan daily work activities.
+ Attain PM (preventive maintenance) schedule.
+ Manage off-site rebuilds.
+ Coordinate work order time into SAP.
+ Coordinate and manage contract services.
+ Interface with equipment technical services for parts and procedures.
+ Supervise the daily operation of Storeroom Group for proper maintenance of plant.
+ Requisition stock and non-stock items for tools for maintenance to properly maintain plant.
+ Check daily issue and reorder list then approve for Purchasing Group the item and amount to purchase.
+ Communicate to all levels of the organization as appropriate, to aid in the achievement of department, site, and business goals.
+ Maintain appropriate daily staffing level including attendance documentation and vacation coverage planning.
+ Document employee attendance and performance issues.
+ Plan, delegate, and control work assignments and special projects to direct reports.
+ Establish specific work goals or quantitative and qualitative standards, to be achieved by direct reports. Manage workforce performance.
+ Ensure adherence to plant policy, especially safety rules and proper personal protective equipment.
+ Ensure the accuracy of the hourly payroll reports submitted to payroll.
+ Ensure area remains clean.
+ Lead all first level quality, environmental, and safety investigations through to completion.
+ Update safety device database and maintain records associated.
+ Maintain MTR records for piping, fittings, and safety devices.
+ All other duties assigned.
+ Fill in for maintenance supervisor as needed.
**Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Requirements:**
To ensure the health and safety in the workplace and for the protection of our employees’, wearing PPE is mandatory including equipment such as safety shoes, gloves, safety glasses, face mask, and a full hazmat suit that includes a respirator.
**What skills and experience do I need to be successful in this role?**
+ High school education or equivalency (GED).
+ 4-5 years of progressive experience in maintenance.
+ Preferred: Associates degree plus 1-2 years of supervisory experience. Or combination of training and experience. Chemical manufacturing experience in a union environment.
+ Must remain medically qualified to do job requirements.
+ Must be able to work under intense pressure environment.
+ Computer skills- Microsoft Office, Outlook, and SAP
+ Project management
**Compensation at ICL:** If you are hired at ICL, your final base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience. We also offer a generous benefits package (more information on benefits listed below).
**Salary Range:** $68,000 - $93,000
**Annual Bonus Target:** 5%, subject to plan provisions.
