Position Summary: The role of a Plant Maintenance Supervisor is to participate in the Total and Preventive Maintenance (TPM) for all equipment and facilities. 

Responsibilities:

OrganizationContribute, in liaison with the Manufacturing Engineering Department, to define technical specifications for alterations on existing equipment and facilities Coordinate both repair and preventive maintenance requirements for all manufacturing equipmentIdentify and develop standards for equipment repair, set up and operation Participate in Production System Efficiency and Quality System Efficiency workshops to support continuous improvement: propose and implement continuous productivity, efficiency and quality improvement actions for all facilitiesFacilitate equipment movesKeep up to date documentation related to maintenanceBe responsible for the computer aided maintenance management systemManage a team of maintenance technicians Ensure proper coding of maintenance personnel in E-TimeAssign maintenance tasks & ensure proper closure of work ordersConduct & record employee safety stand downsAssist with any additional tasks as assigned by the companySupport commitments established in the ISO 14001 Environmental Policy.Conform to requirements established in Saline Plant ISO 14001 Environmental Management System (EMS) procedures and work instructions.Ensure members in assigned area(s) of responsibility conform to relevant EMS requirements.Support environmental programs to achieve objectives and targets.Follow values established within Forvia. Act with an entrepreneurial mindset as well as with autonomy and accountability.
