Looking for an individual to do part coordination and inventory related work for a maintenance department onsite at a large manufacturer in Louisville, KY 1st shift 7am-3:30pm. 27-30/hour This person will be responsible for governance (enforcing, or even setting, the rules/standards for new parts requests) and system data integrity of the maintenance inventory and spare parts program. + Example of this data integrity responsibility: A key focus of this role will be to prevent duplicate spare part profiles from being uploaded into the M&R inventory system. (The current system has approx. 250K part records, but the manager believes that maybe only 150k are unique parts. Meaning they have almost 100k duplicate part profile records!) + Most of the requests for new spare parts inventory comes from the launch team, when they are setting up new equipment or introducing new technology and manufacturing processes to appliance park. + Sometimes spare parts inventory requests or new part tickets are submitted from the AME team without detailed descriptions or information necessary to verify the part doesn’t already exist in the system. This person would the gatekeeper for setting up parts as they come in, but will also be involved in maintaining maintenance inventory / spare parts / and parts inventory audits for all of appliance park. Once up to speed, they may help with other projects, including improving quality of data (merging duplicate records, adding specific details to parts records pages, etc.) They may also help to manage crib inventory and help to train folks on the rules and standards expected for new parts requests. The person will need to have a basic understanding of machinery and maintenance that they will draw on to prompt questions as they receive new parts request. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $32.00/hr.
