Maintenance Repair Technician

**Job Description**
The Maintenance Repair Technician is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining machinery in the shop to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime. The position offers opportunities for advancement based on experience and machine-specific knowledge.
**Responsibilities**
+ Perform basic troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair on a variety of machine shop equipment, including CNC machines, lathes, mills, and other production machinery.
+ Assist in diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues, following established maintenance procedures.
+ Perform preventive maintenance tasks, such as cleaning, lubricating, and adjusting machines to ensure optimal operation.
+ Document repairs and maintenance activities ensuring accurate records for future reference.
+ Lead complex repairs and troubleshooting efforts on a wide range of shop machinery.
+ Perform in-depth diagnostics on mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems, identifying root causes of issues.
+ Mentor and train Level 1 technicians on advanced repair techniques.
+ Collaborate with the production and engineering teams to ensure timely repairs and improvements.
**Essential Skills**
+ Proficiency in troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of machinery.
+ Experience with CNC machines, mechanical, and electrical systems.
+ Ability to use diagnostic tools and precision measuring instruments.
+ Capability to perform preventive maintenance tasks.
+ Strong documentation skills for recording repairs and maintenance activities.
**Additional Information:**
+ Day shift hours, Monday - Friday
