Come join the DMVA team! DESCRIPTION OF WORK In this position, you will be responsible for tasks across electrical, carpentry, plumbing, painting, and masonry trades. Your duties will include both rough and finished carpentry, preparing and painting interior and exterior surfaces, and installing or repairing fixtures such as sinks and faucets. You will also be tasked with installing and replacing electrical panels, circuits, and lighting, as well as repairing air conditioning and heating systems. Additional responsibilities will involve snow removal and concrete or masonry repairs. Regular use and maintenance of both manual and power tools of the trade will be required. Work Schedule and Additional Information: + Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week + Work hours are 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Sunday - Saturday, with a 30-minute lunch. + Salary: Selected candidates who are new to employment with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $ 39,785.00 (before taxes). + You will receive further communication regarding this position via email. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: + Two years of experience as a Maintenance Repairman 1; or + Four years of experience in building and plant maintenance work, which has involved at least two of the building, electrical, or mechanical trades; or + Any equivalent combination of experience and training that affords the applicant with the Required Knowledges, Skills, and Abilities.
