JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for the preventative maintenance, repair, and services of various types of commercial HV ACR equipment and electrical needs. Maintain buildings, grounds, and equipment to present a safe environment in accordance with federal, state, and local codes, manufacturer specifications, and Clinic standards. Maintain accurate records required for compliance with all regulatory agencies.
Work Shift: Wed-Wed; 10:00 am - 8:00 pm
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION
For positions requiring education beyond a high school diploma or equivalent, educational qualifications must be from an institution whose accreditation is recognized by the Council for Higher Education and Accreditation.
Minimum Required: High School graduate
Preferred/Optional: Technical school degree in a building trade or mechanical discipline or a completed apprenticeship relating to a building trade or mechanical discipline.
EXPERIENCE
Minimum Required: Four or more years progressively responsible experience in a healthcare related service or maintenance environment in the areas of HVAC, mechanical, plumbing and electrical. Ability to interpret blueprints, electrical pneumatic and various schematics.
Preferred/Optional: Experience with computer software relating to building automation controls, autocad, Microsoft office products helpful.
CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES
The following licensure(s), certification(s), registration(s), etc., are required for this position. Licenses with restrictions are subject to review to determine if restrictions are substantially related to the position.
Minimum Required: Valid Wisconsin Driver’s License required with an acceptable record as defined by Marshfield Clinic Policy 834. (Travels to Regional sites).
Preferred/Optional: Wisconsin Healthcare Engineering Association’s (WHEA) senior certification required within one year of hire. Universal refrigerant handling license as required by the EPA must be obtained within one year of employment.
