Maintenance Specialist I
The Production Planning job family is responsible for planning, scheduling, and organizing the efficient maintenance, operation and performance of work assignments. Coordinates with various departments to achieve optimum utilization of operations and maintenance resources to effectively achieve production improvements through usage of industry standard methodologies. This position will be responsible for collecting Work Orders and ensuring all required summaries, data, calibrations, etc. are included; input all pertinent information into the CMMS program; preparing Work Orders for initiation, final review and signature; tracking Work Orders through closure and preparing transmittals. **This position shall be performed under the day-to-day direction, control, and supervision of WTCC** **MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES/TASKS** + Ensures timely development and release of work packages, task requests, and work orders to support the Operations / Maintenance / Startup Testing schedule. + Expedites any work packages that delay schedules and recommends schedule changes needed to encompass unforeseen conditions. + Ensures work orders are in compliance with project directive documents, assists in the determination of work priority, and helps establish workflow processes that support work control management and Operations goals. + Assemble PM work orders and insert current documents (routing form, Pre & Post Job Forms, drawings, MSDS) + Package closeout including CMMS entries and PDC preparation + Collection of Work Orders and ensure all required summaries, data, calibrations, etc. are included. + Will be required to complete other assignments in order to support Construction, Start-up, and Plant Operations departments as necessary to meet evolving WTP Project needs. + Support the Waste Treatment Plant Nuclear Safety Quality Culture by emphasizing the values of safety and quality in the performance of work in order to protect self, others, and the environment + Perform all work safely and with the utmost concern for the safety of self and other employees. + Perform all work in compliance with environmental permits and regulations. + Administrative, organizational and computer skills, including proficiency in MSOffice programs (Excel, Word, and Outlook). + This job description is not intended to include every duty, task or instruction for which an employee is responsible. Other tasks may be assigned, based on business needs and the department supervisor’s request. **REQUIREMENTS/SPECIFICATIONS** **Education/Experience:** Bachelor’s degree business, engineering, construction management, economics and 1 years’ experience with computerized maintenance, training, or supply chain management software. Possess the ability to perform vital and detail control functions. Knowledge of a variety of operating activities such as purchasing, materials, scheduling, task hazard identification/controls, preventive and corrective maintenance. _OR_ Associates degree in business, engineering, construction management, economics and 3 years’ experience with computerized maintenance, training, or supply chain management software. Possess the ability to perform vital and detail control functions. Knowledge of a variety of operating activities such as purchasing, materials, scheduling, task hazard identification/controls, preventive and corrective maintenance. _OR_ High School Diploma/GED and 5 years’ experience with computerized maintenance, training, or supply chain management software. Knowledge of a variety of operating activities such as purchasing, materials, scheduling, task hazard identification/controls, preventive and corrective maintenance. **Preferred** **:** Work Control experience in the DOE / ISMS / VPP / Commercial Nuclear environment. **PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS** (EFNM) Exposed Field Non-Manual Performs desk work, including writing, computer workstation processes, and telephone operation. Arranges for and/or performs presentations, oral reports, planning meetings, and other formal and informal contacts, requiring long periods of sitting. Oversees field activities through inspections, testing and equipment operations, which requires walking, standing, bending, and turning along with wearing of personal protective equipment. Occasional loading, transport, and unloading of tools and/or supplies specific to an activity. **COMPENSATION & BENEFITS** HIRING SALARY RANGE: $76,393.70 - $114,972.97 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
