Job Summary:
The Maintenance Specialist ET is responsible for a variety of responsibilities including conducting planned maintenance activities, installing all plant electrical, troubleshooting and programming PLC's according to procedure while observing all safety regulations and ensuring GMP and quality standards are met to maintain the efficient flow of production. You will report to the Maintenance Team Leader. You will work on site at the Council Bluffs location. Starting up to $27.27 per hour, (Attendance Incentive $0.60 for second shift and $0.70 for third shift)
Essential Job Functions:
Work the scheduled/assigned times and required overtime for positionRegular attendance to ensure production requirements are metRead, write, communicate, and comprehend written instructions in EnglishKnowledge of electronic testing equipmentKnowledge of Planned MaintenanceRead and interpret complex electrical schematics/printsAdvanced computer experience including knowledge of spreadsheets (can maintain complex spreadsheets)Complete work/purchase requestsLift up to 75 lbs.Job Responsibilities:
Install, maintain, and operate all plant electrical (e.g., switch gear, high/low volt, drives, parts, and lighting)Set-up all electronic equipment for scheduled production runsTroubleshoot, maintain, and repair all electronic equipment (e.g., wiring, scales, and metal detectors)Troubleshoot and program PLC's and encoder systems including wiringConduct daily/weekly electrical PM'sFabricate custom electronic partsImplement safety devices on production linesComplete required reports (e.g., PM, Work Orders, Centerline) in EnglishSkills Required:Knowledge of Plant safety, GMP's, and confined spacesBe LOTO/PIT certifiedKnowledge of normal/abnormal processesQualifications:
Education: High school diploma or GED required. College or trade school.
Experience Required: Minimum 1 year of electrical/electronic or related experience required. PLC certification preferred.
