Maintenance Storeroom Specialist
Must comply and support all applicable GMPs (Good Manufacturing Procedures), Site Security, and Food Packaging Defense requirements that are referenced in the facilities GFSI (Global Food Safety Initiative) food packaging program. Focus on maintaining inventory to support mechanical and electrical maintenance practices, while supporting operations, quality, and safety practices. Adhere to the safety and quality policies established by OSHA, NSF, NEC, and the Plant Safety Manager. Maintain the Storeroom environment that adheres to the safe, efficient, and effective work performance expected. Complete documentation regarding the daily maintenance actions performed through SAP. Inspect materials in storage and correct or initiate returns when needed to reject damaged supplies to ensure product being produced meets all quality standards as set by the site Quality and Production Managers. Report any inability to effect repairs or perform the job to which they have been assigned to Maintenance Management. Receive both stock and non-stock materials with the use of powered industrial trucks/forklifts (MHE, Material Handling Equipment), as well as being able to work on scissor lifts and articulating boom lifts (MEWP, Mobile Elevated Work Platform). Purchase all stock and non-stock items in maintenance and production environments. Enter all services for purchase orders. Responsible for sending out all parts / rolls that are able to be repaired and refurbished along with tracking until these are returned.
