\n \n Job Description

The Maintenance Supervisors handle many different areas of repair, such as plumbing, electricity, ventilation, airconditioning, and other building systems. The Maintenance Supervisor is also responsible for evaluatingproblematic systems and determining what repairs need to be performed. Maintenance Supervisors are alsoinvolved with the hiring of workers, and assigning duties and responsibilities; the maintenance supervisor mayprovide training on equipment and procedures used in a building or complex. Maintenance supervisors are alsoresponsible for coordinating with building or complex management on supplies needed for the job, as well asmaintenance inventory. Supervisors may also be responsible for the evaluations and accident investigations, aswell as filing reports.

Work hours: Monday - Friday, 8am-5pm.

\n

On call for emergencies, nights, weekends, and holidays.

\n

\n

Daily tasks:

\n

\n\nGreet homeowners, vendors, and contractors.\nWalk community and perform routine and preventative inspections.Maintain facilities equipment and repair.\nPerform general maintenance work in the common areas and amenities, to include plumbing, electrical, and carpentry work.\nReview and prioritize work order tickets, update tickets with work done, close out tickets with the work is completed using Building Link.\nCommunicate work updated with the General Manager, Homeowners and Board of Directors.\nCoordinate with outside contractors to perform maintenance work, repairs, and capital projects.\nPurchase and manage all related maintenance supplies and equipment repair parts.\nOther duties as assigned.\n\n

Pay rate is $75-$80K.

\n Requirements\n5+ years of general maintenance work in a residential setting.\nExcellent communication skills (written and spoken), custoemr service, and follow-up skills.\nSelf-motivated, proactive, ability to meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines.\nKnowledge of general maintenance requirements, (documentation, safety, required reporting,regulations, etc.).\nKnowledge of electrical and plumbing codes and maintenance requirements, (documentation,safety, required reporting, regulations, etc.).\nKnowledge of HVAC, including codes and maintenance requirements, (documentation, safety,required reporting, regulations, etc.)\nKnowledge of OSHA,State, or local governmental worksite and personal safety requirements.\nValid driver's license is required.\n\n
