Daikin Applied is seeking an experienced technician with machine maintenance responsibilities who directs and manages the activities of workers engaged in troubleshooting, repair, maintenance, and installation of tooling and equipment. This is a 2nd shift position, 2pm-10pm.

 

What you will do:

Supervise maintenance technicians engaged in equipment installation, equipment troubleshooting and repair, and preventative maintenance Collaborate with management to schedule repair, maintenance, and installation of machines, tools, and equipment to ensure continuous production operations Implement preventative maintenance program and coordinate implementation with internal team as well as management Complete employee performance evaluations and has the ability to address performance related matters Review and close completed work orders to proper standards in maintenance management system Respond to emergencies and support after hours facility needs and activities as required Participate as a lead of the emergency response team; assist outside emergency response team Observe, comply with, and hold team accountable to company safety procedures at all times

Minimum Qualifications:

Associate degree – vocational or technical education with a certificate in maintenance-related subject matter At least 6 years of experience – 5 or more years progressive experience in Maintenance or related field with 1 or more years of leadership responsibility, or equivalent combination of education and experience Visa Sponsorship is not available for this position.
