The Maintenance Supervisor - 3rd Shift will perform complex, non-repetitive, supervisory duties which will monitor department performance daily. Direct all maintenance team members. Ensure that all paperwork is distributed & filled out properly in a timely manner. Maintain a safe environment to work in & to monitor all necessary procedures and to oversee the entire installation, operation, maintenance, and modification of facilities, equipment, and physical needs of the plant operation; design/adapt special production machinery; and maintain surveillance over manufacturing processes for the purpose of reducing and controlling costs to facilitate production at maximum efficiency and safety at minimum cost.
\r\nEssential Functions, Duties & Responsibilities:
\r\n\r\nInspect daily releases from supply.\r\nOversee CMMS / SAP work order requests.\r\nTrack progress of open projects.\r\nWork with external resources for maintenance and capital solutions.\r\nAttend daily meetings.\r\nPerform weekly safety audits, equipment audits.\r\nAttend KPI meetings.\r\nPrepare KPI’s.\r\nMaintain budgets in assigned departments.\r\nBuild a team-based atmosphere.\r\nProvide directions for SAP CMMS and the BOSS System.\r\nProvide support to assigned production areas.\r\nComplete walk arounds.\r\nDirect training of team members in electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic maintenance and repair of machinery and equipment.\r\nAssist team members in diagnosing malfunctions in machine and equipment.\r\nDirect team members in dismantling, assembling, and installing industrial machinery during plant repair, modification and/or expansion.\r\nInterpret company policies to team members and enforce safety regulations.\r\nSuggest changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of shop, department and/or maintenance crews.\r\nInitiate and/or suggest plans to motivate team members to achieve company goals.\r\nConduct training programs for department team members on specific equipment.\r\nAnalyze, resolve, repair, and construction and/or equipment modification problems or assist team members and/or contractors in solving related problems.\r\nInterpret specifications, blueprints and job orders to team members and outside contractors.\r\nEstablish or adjust work procedures to meet project and production schedules.\r\nRecommend measures to improve production methods, equipment performance and quality of product.\r\nConfer with manager and supervisors to coordinate activities of individual departments relative to maintenance and construction projects.\r\n\r\nAdditional Responsibilities:
\r\n\r\nScheduling of personnel and project teams to include outside contractors.\r\nOther responsibilities as assigned by plant management.\r\n\r\nKnowledge, Skills & Abilities:
\r\n\r\nBackground in Mechanical, Chemical, or Electrical Industry\r\nProficient in Microsoft Office Suite\r\nBilingual English/Spanish preferred\r\n\r\nEducation & Experience:
