Maintenance Supervisor – Los Angeles, CA
Under the direction of the Maintenance Manager, is responsible for coordinating and supervising the workflow of maintenance technicians in the general maintenance of beverage manufacturing equipment.
Shift/Schedule: This is a full-time position working 2nd Shift. This shift works primarily Monday through Friday, 1:00PM to 9:30PM. Flexibility to work outside of normal schedule, including weekends and holidays, is required as needed.
Responsibilities:
Assures equipment reliability to maximize production line productivity and product qualityGuide and Support maintenance technicians in trouble-shooting production equipment when necessaryImplements process enhancements to improve package changeover and line efficiencyUtilizes knowledge to maximize asset utilization and plant performanceSupports/Provides training to improve capability of maintenance techniciansSchedules and tracks standard preventive manufacturing measures and prioritizes plant maintenance opportunitiesCoordinates and inspects major contract work on the equipment and building electrical, plumbing, mechanical and other related systemsAbility to meet and deal tactfully and courteously with fellow employees and vendors/contractorsThorough knowledge of the occupation hazards and corresponding safety precautions necessary for the safe performance of assigned dutiesDevelop, implement, and drive continuous improvement through TPMApply continuous improvement/Lean methodologies in problem solving, 5-Whys, Fishbone, FMEA, etc.Ensure high performance results of your team by:
