IN THIS ROLE, YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE:
Supervises all maintenance technicians. Coordinates the preventative maintenance program and ensures proper documentation. Responsible for repairs, modifications, and rebuilding of all equipment and machines. Responsible for preventative maintenance and repairs to building equipment. Assists Maintenance Manager in maintaining compliance of applicable laws and regulations issued by federal, state, and local regulatory agencies. Orders and stores maintenance materials. Provides training for technicians to ensure skills are available for all requirements. Assists Plant Engineer to oversee special construction and building maintenance projects where outside contractors are employed Safety is the primary responsibility of each employee. Obey all safety rules and make safety an integral part of each task. Stop work if continuing is unsafe or will create an unsafe condition. Additional duties as assigned by managerWHO YOU ARE: You quickly and decisively take actions in fact-changing, unpredictable situations. You articulate messages in a way that is broadly understandable. You pursue everything with energy, drive, and the need to finish.
FOR THIS ROLE, YOU WILL NEED:
Technical degree or equivalent credit hours in a related field of study. 2+ years of experience in the manufacturing industry Experience as a facility and equipment supervisor or multi-crafts person Must be able to work in an environment with prolonged standing, lifting 40 pounds, bending, scooping, and repetitive motions throughout the entire shift Willing to work in a manufacturing plant environment with elements including but not limited to noise, dust, dirt, oil, and grease Must be willing to wear PPE's including safety glasses, ear plugs and/or safety shoes May be required to work at different workstations as business needs require Open to travel within the United States up 15% of the timePREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS THAT SET YOU APART:
