\n \n Job Description

The Maintenance Supervisors handle many different areas of repair, such as plumbing, electricity, ventilation, airconditioning, and other building systems. The Maintenance Supervisor is also responsible for evaluatingproblematic systems and determining what repairs need to be performed. Maintenance Supervisors are alsoinvolved with the hiring of workers, and assigning duties and responsibilities; the maintenance supervisor may
provide training on equipment and procedures used in a building or complex. Maintenance supervisors are alsoresponsible for coordinating with building or complex management on supplies needed for the job, as well asmaintenance inventory. Supervisors may also be responsible for the evaluations and accident investigations, aswell as filing reports.

Daily responsibilities:

\n

\n\nPerform or arrange for general building and fixture repairs.\nSupervise all general building maintenance.\nSupervise maintenance of landscaping and upkeep of grounds equipment.\nInspect buildings and grounds for safety hazards, water leaks, etc and address.\nKeep the building in a clean and orderly condition by examining the building on a regular basis for neededrepairs, maintenance, and cleanliness.\nSupervise maintenance staff and outside contractors.\nOther duties as assigned.\n\n Requirements\nHigh School Diploma or GED Required.\n7 – 10 years of directly related or closely related experience.\n3 – 5 years of Management and/or Supervisory experience.\nKnowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) at a proficient level.\nAbility to use a translation device on a mobile telephone for communication.\nKnowledge of company policies, procedures and forms at a proficient level.\nKnowledge of State or local governmental safety requirements.\nKnowledge of general maintenance requirements, (documentation, safety, required reporting, regulations,etc.)\nKnowledge of electrical and plumbing codes and maintenance requirements, (documentation, safety, requiredreporting, regulations, etc.)\nKnowledge of HVAC, including codes and maintenance requirements, (documentation, safety, requiredreporting, regulations, etc.)\nKnowledge of OSHA worksite and personal safety requirements.\nConfidentiality and discretion in the performance of all duties and responsibilities.\nTime management and time critical prioritization skills.\n\n
