Maintenance Supervisor
This position is responsible for overseeing the daily line support maintenance functions with respect to Assembly, Fabrication, Paint and Welding operations. 
 
Major Tasks, Responsibilities & Key Accountabilities Manage all aspects of Maintenance including staffing, planning, prioritizing, organizing, delegating, supervising and performance Conduct routine staff meetings to set daily, weekly and monthly performance targets for Team Leads, Maintenance Technicians and Support Engineers Participate in the development and integration of maintenance policies and standards Facilitate development of technical skills and capabilities maintenance technicians Coordinate maintenance and safety training programs for new and existing technicians Responsible for supporting the operations team in meeting production requirements and performance metrics in Safety, Quality, Productivity and Cost Oversee Maintenance Management System to ensure equipment information is updated, critical spare parts inventory levels are maintained, and Preventive Maintenance work plans / frequencies are relevant and completed on time. Develop and drive a Preventive Maintenance culture Establish appropriate KPI metrics and focus the maintenance team toward positive improvement trends Effective communication with Operations to ensure proper maintenance coverage is available (on all shifts and weekends) and maintenance related issues are addressed in a timely manner. Manage maintenance team and individual performance Take responsibility for the physical appearance and safety of the workplace Develop relationships with third-party contractors / vendors / technical service providers necessary to maintain and improve automation controls, fixtures and equipment Investigate, justify, and help facilitate cost savings initiatives Assist with project management and capital upgrades  
Nature & Scope Reports to Maintenance Manager  
Minimum Qualifications Must pass any drug screens, background checks and any pre-employment tests as applicable. Technical Certificate / Associates degree in a technical field or equivalent experience 10 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment 3-5 years of maintenance supervisory experience  
Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in a related technical field 15 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment 7-10 years of maintenance supervisory experience Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Competencies Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Maximo and SAP Effective time management and planning skills Effective verbal and written communication skills Holds all individuals, including him/herself, accountable for delivering results Ability to motivate staff and deliver results Good organizational skills Promotes creative problem solving and continuous improvement Detail oriented and self-directed Ability to multi-task while maintaining a sense of urgency Ability to be flexible with work activities Skilled at influencing and managing change within the business Knowledge of assembly, fabrication, paint and welding equipment / processes Troubleshooting experience in the following: Controls, Electrical, Hydraulic and Pneumatic Must wear Personal Protective Equipment as required  
Physical Requirements Flexible schedule sometimes required to support equipment repair and integration efforts.  This could include 12-hour shifts / 7 days a week Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 10lbs, frequently and/or move up to 35lbs, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50lbs Must be able to perform continuous, repetitious physical activities.  These activities may involve fine movements or large motions Must be able to grasp/pinch small items, reach out and up, and turn wrist Must be capable of keeping pace with current production speed Must be able to push/pull with reasonable force Must be able to perform the following requirements of bending, stooping, climbing, kneeling, and standing for extended periods of time Must be able to work in multiple climates including hot/cold temperatures, and dusty environment
