Role Description:
The Maintenance Supervisor manages plant maintenance programs and business metrics. The supervisor is responsible for overall facility and equipment maintenance, as well as the supervision of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Direct hourly employees to plan and manage maintenance programs and business metrics.
• Plan and establish work schedules, assignments, and production sequences to meet daily goals.
• Ensure effective employee relations through leading, coaching, mentoring and developing people.
• Resolve employee concerns through problem resolution and partner with management, as needed, for additional support in resolution process.
• Read and analyze charts, work orders, maintenance, and production schedules to meet customer requirements.
• Provide technical direction for Shell Press, Liner, Conversion Press and Engineering performance.
• Develop and/or implement training plans to increase employee skills and capabilities.
• Involvement in Maintenance Planning: CMMS System, FIIX.
• Balance safety, quality, productivity, cost, and morale to achieve positive results in all areas with a focus on continuous improvement in all areas.
• Ensure safe operation of all equipment, train employees as necessary, and promptly investigates and reports all safety concerns.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree; preferably in Engineering.
• At least 3 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing facility.
• Previous supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in high-speed manufacturing and PLC Controls.
• Knowledge of electronics, mechanics, hydraulics and TPM systems.
• Experience with Six Sigma, Lean or other improvement philosophies.
• SAP system experience preferred.
