**Job Title:** Maintenance Supervisor
**Pay Rate** : $34-44/Hour
**Location** : Munster, IN
**Shift** : 2nd shift available
**Job Description**
Ensure the operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on hydraulics, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines; following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications; troubleshooting malfunctions. Locate sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation; listening for problems; using precision measuring and testing instruments. Determine changes in dimensional requirements of parts by inspecting used parts; using rules, calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments. Control downtime by informing production workers of routine preventive maintenance techniques; monitoring compliance. Maintain equipment, parts, and supplies inventories by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed equipment, parts, and supplies; placing and expediting orders; verifying receipt. Conserve maintenance resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results. Provide mechanical maintenance information by answering questions and requests. Manage PM software. Exhibit strong leadership skills and have sound knowledge of industrial electrical systems.
**Responsibilities**
+ Inspect and assess work done by the electrical staff.
+ Read and interpret design schematics to ensure the proper installation of electrical systems.
+ Troubleshoot major system failures and equipment malfunctions.
+ Oversee the purchasing and maintenance of the electrical equipment on-site.
+ Maintain technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing technical publications; establishing personal networks.
+ Maintain continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
+ Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
+ Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ High school diploma
+ At least five years of experience in a manufacturing environment
+ At least one year of experience in a supervisory role in a manufacturing environment
+ Strong technical knowledge
+ Understanding of basic safety regulations and procedures
+ Organizational skills
+ Analytical team builder
+ Must pass Ramsay test
+ Must be able to climb heights (ladders)
+ 2+ years of experience
+ Must match culture index to this role

**Work Environment**
Heavy industrial environment. Can be dark, loud, and experience varying temperatures. The ideal candidate will have industrial experience and be accustomed to this type of environment. The shift for this role is Monday - Friday, 2pm - 10pm.
