Maintenance Supervisor
**Maintenance Safety Supervisor** **Job Description** The Maintenance Safety Supervisor will oversee and support the maintenance, repairs, and preparedness for the company. They, along with their team, will manage electrical, machine maintenance, plumbing, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC), carpentry, painting, as well as other maintenance and facility needs. Additionally, the Maintenance Safety Supervisor will manage the health and safety initiatives for production. **Responsibilities** + Hire and train maintenance department staff. + Organize and oversee the schedules and work of maintenance staff. + Conduct performance evaluations that are timely and constructive. + Handle discipline and termination of employees as needed and in accordance with company policies. + Manage the upkeep of safety training and federal documentation. + Oversee the day-to-day operations of the maintenance department and team. + Evaluate systems and facilities to determine maintenance and/or repairs that need to be performed. + Assess building systems to plan work assignments and project schedules. + Develop maintenance procedures and schedules. + Ensure maintenance and repair work is completed safely, correctly, and in a timely manner. + Assist with departmental budget estimates and costs of specific repair projects. + Attend and participate in meetings as required to outline a specific job. + Perform other related duties as assigned. **Essential Skills** + Supervision + Supervisory skills + Production supervision + Management skills + Maintenance Supervision + Leadership + Industrial Maintenance + Continuous improvement + Lean manufacturing + Process improvement + Industrial **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Maintains a safe work environment + Able to safely lift 50 pounds + Electrical License + Use of hands/arms in repetitive motion + Able to walk and be on one’s feet for duration of shift + Weekend Flexibility + Technical Capacity + Problem Solving/Analysis + Able to work on a team + Able to work independently and stay on task + High school diploma or general education degree (GED) + Prior experience with measuring tools is a plus + Experience with 3-phase, 480 **Why Work Here?** Good leadership opportunity to grow in and have further opportunity.
