Key responsibilities
+ Scheduling & Planning:Efficiently plan schedules in SAP, order necessary parts, and manage work schedules to keep our operations running smoothly.
+ Equipment Breakdown Response:Swiftly respond to equipment breakdowns, prioritize repairs, and coordinate with the appropriate resources to resolve issues.
+ Maintenance Activities:Perform preventative, predictive, and diagnostic maintenance on production and facility equipment as needed.
+ Maintenance Planning:Develop and document maintenance plans, including work descriptions, required parts and tools, and maintenance frequency.
+ Project Execution:Execute approved project plans and Functional Improvements team tasks, identifying and addressing sources of loss using World Class tools and processes.
+ Work Order Follow-Up:Ensure quality completion of all assignments with thorough follow-up and proper documentation.
+ Troubleshooting:Effectively troubleshoot machine problems using internal and external support.
+ Documentation:Accurately document all work performed using maintenance tracking systems and technical reports.
+ Procurement:Research and procure new materials, parts, and supplies to improve equipment and resolve ongoing issues.
+ Support Production & Quality:Provide general support to plant production and quality as directed by Plant Leadership.
+ Safety Compliance:Attend safety meetings, report incidents, and adhere to all Company and Plant Safety policies and procedures.
+ Food Safety:Support the SQF 2000 System and participate in the food safety team, following the Kerry HACCP program.
Qualifications and skills
+ Experience:Previous experience in maintenance mechanical and as a maintenance supervisor.
+ Skills:Strong people management and development skills, ability to read, write, and communicate in English, basic keyboard and data entry skills, basic math and mechanical skills, and computer literacy.
+ Physical Requirements:Ability to lift 50 lbs, kneel, bend, squat, stoop, and carry.
+ Work Environment:Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment.
+ Education:High School graduate or equivalent.
+ Additional Skills:Excellent communication, organization, and listening skills, attention to detail, and ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
Compensation Data
The typical hiring range for this role is $64,479 to $95,074 annually and is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, location, etc. In addition to your pay, Kerry offers benefits such as a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and retirement contribution (all benefits and incentives are subject to eligibility requirements).
