Maintenance Manager
Your role and responsibilitiesProvide both supervisory support & technical assistance to the Maintenance Department to ensure plant machinery, equipment & tooling are in good working condition to support Operations.Perform inspections of equipment to identify potential issues.Responsible for overseeing the preventive maintenance program.Coordinate repairs and maintenance activities, including troubleshooting complex problems.Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, including work orders, parts inventory, and repair logs.Develops or reviews standard operational and working practices. Observes workers to ensure compliance with standards.Ensures equipment & tools are available when required.Directly responsible & accountable for controlling all areas of job responsibilities to ensure all production assets are available & in good working condition to support production plan.Ensure OSHA, TOSHA & EPA rules & regulations.
Qualifications for the roleRequires a high school diploma or GED equivalent and training related to maintenance trades, supplemented by three to five years of maintenance experience, some of which have been in a leadership capacity, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.Ability to effectively manage and motivate the maintenance team. Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot complex maintenance issues. Efficiently plan and prioritize maintenance tasks.Takes proactive ownership and responsibility work output. Clear communication with both technical and non-technical staff Possesses self-motivation to take on additional responsibilities to enhance value to organization. Can be relied upon to be on time and when needed and perform work to its successful completion.Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US
