Principal and Essential Duties & Responsibilities Supervise a shift maintenance team to include hiring, training, and developing the team to meet the needs of the department Provide safe working conditions for associates and ensure all safety policies and procedures are followed Provide technical support regarding routine and preventative maintenance requirements Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical equipment failures Repair and rebuild mechanical and electrical equipment Monitor the work of external contractors to ensure contract specifications complete work Ensure all work is completed by all Federal, state, and Local environmental and safety requirements Minimum Education HS Diploma or GED required Advanced vocational or technical training preferred Experience Requirements 3 - 5 years of prior supervisory experience in a similar industry Understanding of manufacturing technologies Understanding of mechanical and electrical processes and equipment Understanding of CMS systems, PMs, and data entry Understanding and monitoring KPI's Strong communication, math, analytical, and interpersonal skills Understanding of standard software applications Environmental Factors and Physical RequirementsAble to move freely throughout the Division facilities to include climbing vertical heights (0 - 150'), carrying tools and equipment (0-100 pounds), exposure to extreme temperatures (0-100 Degrees Fahrenheit), humidity, (0 - 100%), noise (50db to 100db) and chemicals (MSDS sheets available). Must be able to wear protective equipment to include self-contained breathing apparatus. Required to travel to remote Division facilities.
