Job Description
The Maintenance Supervisor will play a hands-on role in a food and beverage manufacturing environment. This position involves developing technicians and ensuring the smooth operation of food manufacturing lines by performing preventative maintenance tasks.
ResponsibilitiesOversee manufacturing activities in an assigned area of a food production plant.Supervise a team of 8-12 technicians.Coach, mentor, and train maintenance leads and technicians.Maintain a safe environment by supporting Food and Workplace Safety Rules and Regulations, as well as employee safety.Ensure that the assigned lines meet production goals.Recommend opportunities for improved efficiency and performance.Ensure that production meets exceptional quality goals.Communicate issues timely to production management.Provide training opportunities and development tools for production staff.Enforce safe work practices.Spend 90% of the time on the floor.Essential SkillsMechanical skillsHydraulicsRepairPreventive maintenanceInstallationGearbox knowledgeMaintenance managementSupervisionMaintenance supervisionAdditional Skills & QualificationsExperience coaching, mentoring, and training maintenance leads and techniciansAbility to maintain a safe working environmentProven track record of meeting production and quality goalsStrong communication skillsExperience in recommending efficiency improvementsWhy Work Here?

Work Environment
You will supervise a team of 3-6 technicians across the first, second, and third shifts in maintenance. The work environment requires wearing steel-toed boots and working Monday-Friday, with occasional Saturdays (2-3 per year).

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $90000.00/yr.
