Our client is a property management and construction company who owns and manages both residential and commercial properties throughout Virginia. The Maintenance Supervisor will oversee Maintenance Operations and work with the Property Manager to prepare staffing schedules to esure work is completed. The Maintenance Supervisor will also work with the Property Manager to obtain competitive bids on major expenses. Ensure that vacant units are made rent-ready in a timely manner (7 calendar days). Perform turnkey work as required. Ensure all make-readies are inspected prior to move-ins and meet property standards. + Assist maintenance technicians as needed. + Run a preventative maintenance program that minimizes emergency repairs and service repairs. + Assisting with the response to resident requests and work orders in a timely manner (including, but not limited to, HVAC, plumbing and electrical issues. + Performing on-call emergency services as required (in rotation with the Maintenance Team). + Work with the property manager to prepare staffing schedules to ensure work is completed in a timely manner while remaining within budgetary guidelines. + Work with property manager to obtain competitive bids on major expenses. + Other duties as assigned **Job Requirements for the Maintenance Supervisor in Hampton, VA.** + Position requires a minimum of 3 to 5 years previous experience in property management maintenance, other building maintenance or related trade. + Building maintenance experience is preferred (Multi-family experience is a Plus) + HVAC Certification preferred + Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot problems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, etc.) + Availability to work in any type of weather (heat, rain, cold, snow, etc.) + Availability for night and weekend on-call rotation + A professional and courteous attitude and demeanor when dealing with coworkers, residents, and the general public both on and off the property If you are interested in joining a property management company that is growing, please apply NOW to our Search Consultant, Lisa Capizzi at Lisa.Capizzi@Adeccona.com or call Lisa at 585-953-1649.
