Maintenance Supervisor
The Opportunity: The Maintenance Supervisor will assist in planning, leading, & executing daily activities of the E/I group. Responsible for all E/I related maintenance repairs in the areas of quality, safety & reliability for all equipment located in the mill. The position requires daily supervision of crew employees according to union contract agreement. The position is responsible for supervising and tracking crew overtime and vacations. The position is responsible for work order time entry and close out. TASK/RESPONSIBILITIES: \u2022Ensure safety of all associates by identifying safety issues and proactively address concerns. \u2022Supervise and develop the E/I team to ensure effective communication between all shifts and mill teams \u2022Ensure efficient of use of preventive maintenance, reliable troubleshooting skills and training resources to reduce unscheduled downtime while maintaining production, quality, mill, and departmental goals. \u2022Use computer-based program to effectively COMPETENCIES: To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies: Safety - Includes following safety rules and regulations, working to create and maintain good housekeeping, knowledge and use of safety equipment, active participation in safety effort, attending safety meetings, confronting others regarding safety, reporting incidents and near misses, correcting unsafe conditions.
