Supervise third-shift maintenance activities, ensuring production lines stay operational and downtime is minimized Direct, train, and support a team of maintenance mechanics, fostering a productive and efficient work environment Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems, keeping production running smoothly Develop and oversee preventive maintenance strategies using CMMS software to track repairs and optimize servicing schedules Work alongside production and engineering teams, ensuring maintenance aligns with overall plant objectives Maintain strict safety and compliance standards, conducting inspections and implementing proactive measures to reduce workplace hazards Analyze equipment performance data, identifying patterns, diagnosing recurring issues, and developing long-term solutions Manage vendor relationships for specialized maintenance work, coordinating external support when necessaryRequirements:
BS in Mechanical Engineering is preferred or an equivalent of 5+ years in industrial maintenance Background in industrial maintenance, specifically within a metal fabrication or heavy manufacturing setting is required 5+ years of hands-on maintenance experience, with knowledge of mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems 2+ years in a leadership or supervisory role, managing maintenance personnel and coordinating schedules Familiarity with CMMS software to schedule and track maintenance work; implementation experience preferred Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve equipment malfunctions Union experience preferredWork Environment & Schedule
