Job DescriptionPosition Overview: Manage, oversee, and coordinate all activities related to the maintenance of Injection and Nissei equipment and systems; specifically, within the Injection, Nissei, grinding, and resin material systems. Supervise and coordinate all facets of maintenance machinery and personnel. Responsible for defining problem areas, conducting investigations, and implementing solutions. Evaluate department needs and make recommendations for improvement. The Maintenance Supervisor ensures compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations while supervising and coordinating maintenance personnel and machinery operations.
Essential Responsibilities and Duties:Follow all established safety rules and guidelines in the Employee Handbook and as stated in theEnsures all maintenance personnel are properly trained and aware of potential safety and/or health risks. This includes compliance with OSHA requirements and GMPs.Identifying, and defining problem areas, conducting thorough investigations, and implementing effective solutions to maintain efficient departmental operations to include scrap management.Directs and assists in the repair, maintenance and modification of molding equipment, tooling and auxiliary equipment, including resin system and dryers.Implements an effective preventive maintenance program and ensures compliance with written plans, programs and procedures. Ensures repair work is documented.Establishes priorities for the maintenance function and effective utilization of personnel and equipment. Works closely with production personnel to ensure all activities are completed in timely manner, according to schedule.Recommends and institutes programs that will improve efficiency and reduce costs/scrap, while improving quality and customer service. Directly supervises the hourly maintenance co-workers ensuring a motivated, skilled workforce. Assess skills, writes performance reviews and recommends and/or provides training to ensure department personnel are technically competent to maintain equipment in use at the facility. Fosters an environment of employee participation and team development. Identifies employees’ concerns and seeks resolution.Manages the movement of molds to and from the facility and acts as the key contact person for molds at the facility.Responsible for compliance with applicable Federal, State and local safety and health, environmental, building and fire ordinances and standards not limited to lockout, haz-com, machine guarding and waste disposal. Actively participates in local safety programs and ensure maintenance team performs work in a safe manner.Actively participates in all plant audits, including GMP, HACCP, and GFSIMust be committed to providing our customers a product that is safe and meets specifications, regulations and statutory requirements.Relationships:

Incumbent must have the ability to read, write, and interpret technical diagrams and procedures. Strong mathematical skills are required. A high degree of organizational skills is required.Strong troubleshooting skills required. The pay range for the above-referenced position is determined by taking into account many factors such as experience, qualifications, certifications, skills, education, and other business-related factors. Salary decisions are based on each job. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $90, 000 to $123,700.00 annually.

CompensationThe starting salary for this position is expected to be between $82,500 to $103,100; however, base pay offered may vary within the full salary range $82,500 to $123,700 depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Base pay information is based on national averages and a geographic differential may be applied based on work location.
